If CrackBerry can post this as an article on their webpage, it could be exposed to more users, and whoever is interested can sign up.

Possibly a reflection of why WA is pulling support.

Done! Hope all of us BlackBerry fans will sign it, even if you don't use WhatsApp or BlackBerry (10) for that matter. I'd hate having to let go off my Passport because WhatsApp support stops before the KEYone's availability.

Posting this on BBW WhatsApp reviews might help, also on BlackBerry 10 facebook pages also might help to gain some supporters.

Nop, it's the other way round, since WA is stopping the support, many have migrated to other OS. Yes it may sound silly but WA is an integral part of a phone now. Just behind phone calls.

?? I don't use WA and actually don't know anyone that does. My family and friends are all fairly tech savvy and I work in the mobile software development. Since when is WA integral to anything?

Also shouldn't the petition be directed at WA.

    Meh. Location-dependent.
Where I'm from, it's FB Messenger and Viber. Hardly anyone uses WhatsApp here.

WhatsApp has more downloads from BBW than any social networking apps! So that says a lot more too!

That's true, it is location dependent. Though in most places, it's WhatsApp.

    Maybe for your family.
Why has WhatsApp over 1.2 billion users?

Don't you know fb bought WA?

While that may say a lot, what means a lot from WA's perspective, is how many are using it and what experience they get. They've surmised it's not enough consumers to warrant the costs of development. If everyone who used it signed the petition, what would that change?

That's right. WA HAS the actual metrics regarding BB10 users. It's not enough to be worth their time, so what does a petition do? Even if every single WA user on BB10 signs it, it equals the same insufficient number they already have.
