Bump. Anyone try sideloading PDANET? I have an AT&T grandfathered unlimited data plan so I can't use the built in tethering. Looking for a work around. Thanks

Doesn't work. Says to enable USB debugging. Anything closest to that would be dev mode. No such thing.

    When USB Tether is picked

    Attachment 178004

    When Blue tooth is picked

    Attachment 178005

Unfortunately sideloading does not work. It installs, but just does not run properly. We'll have to wait for june fabrics to port it over. Probably not enough z10 users for it to be worth their while...yet (I hope). That was my most used BB app.

Not to kill hopes, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. As far as PDANet on iPhone goes, there is a core daemon running in the background even when the app isn't loaded.

That said, the app in the z10 loads, just the core function is not there. Unless they rewrite and include everything in the app itself, nothing can be done, irregardless of porting.

Perhaps 'port' was the wrong term. I guess that they need to re-write the app so the 'core daemon' runs properly. <lol> BTW, there is no such word as irregardless. ;-)

Yipeee!!! With the latest OS leak (10.2.1.1055) the sideload of PDANet works. I'm a happy camper. Didn't someone around here say nothing could be done unless the whole app was re-written? ;-)

My bad. I should have clarified... It's working with Bluetooth not wifi.

Just search crackberry for OS LEAK. You'll find it.
