Come on there must be software out there for managing passwords that is cross platform. I am looking for a solution that will allow me to keep a password vault that can be accessed VIA my Desktop, Or BlackBerry 10. I currently an a Windows user. I cant believe we are in the 21 century and this is still so hard to find simple solutions like this

I don't care if it uses box or DropBox to store and sync my data but I just want something so that I can update and access my password from anywhere that is not stored on someone else's cloud. Not unless they have implemented TNO encryption so only a blob is stored on their service and they have 0 access to my data as i am the only key holder.

Does anyone know of any aplication like this? I have found something called SplashID but I don't know if it is exactly what I am looking for as they are a month to month service. Any suggestions would be great.

I am using lastpass. It works great. Can be sometimes cumbersome cause it is an android port but it works. Another app is keepass where you can set your own db file and keep it in sync with box or dropbox.

Well they have a local wifi sync model that is a one time fee. But I cannot seem to find any information on it and they almost make it impossible to find out this information. If a site makes it this hard to find data about something they are selling I have to question the organization of that company

Sorry edited my post above as I was answering the first reply there.

I will have a look at KeyPass as they seem to have be better now on BB10, before it used to be only 1.0 support and read only and no dropbox support.

I wont touch LastPass to be honest, those guys don't seem to have a clue how to do stuff. Its like they went from a browser plug in to a password manager for everything but they transitioned very horribably. The software for the desktop is just very bad in my opinion.

keepassb is 10 compatible and does support drop box, sort of. just open the db on the device corresponding to your dropbox sync folder.

Is it jsut me or why does it take so long to open the database. My device takes about 30 seconds to open the database. Not a huge deal but so for this is what I need!!!

I love Datavault and have a Z10. I am trying to find out if it will work with 10.2 (if T-Mobile ever updates).

The KeePass I use is called "KeePass for BlackBerry" by Dan Samargui. I just keep my *kdb files in a dropbox folder and point there. Windows, BB, PB, Linux... no issues.
