For interest sake, I compared Kiwi and BEOL.

    Html5test: Kiwi 525, BEOL 498, BB10 395

    TLS support: Kiwi 1.3, BEOL 1.2, BB10 1.2

    JetStream bench: Kiwi 20, BEOL 14, BB10 11

Higher is better for all results. Good measures for compatibility, security, and speed respectively.

I used a Z30, so Passport results will be higher on the JetStream test.

All of the native bb10 browsers use the same webkit so fundamentally there's no measurable benefit in terms of speed gains.

Do browsers based on webkit have any control over resources (I'm thinking memory) available, and so not necessarily using them in the same way?

For the few times I've used Paperbird, it seemed to be a bit faster than the stock browser (on a PP). I have no numbers to report, though.

Yea, they have some information on the 'About' from its swipe down menu. I noticed its UI slides out of the window or past its edges a lot instead of remaining fixed. Maybe the devs were better with cache, history and garbage clean up over the UI.

I use the native browser and BEOL mostly, and sometimes Browsie. BEOL's initial loading of some large websites(such as cnn.com) is VERY slow, but it loads a lot of websites that I can't get to load at all(or features of the website don'twork) with the native browser. This is on a Q10 FWIW.
