Open an internet radio station from a homescreen icon, active text, or within the app itself with Open Radio app! Open the app, input a name, the internet url(add ";" at end for Shoutcast streams), choose and icon and press make shortcut. The icon then appears on your desktop for using. Or add it to the list within the app. You can skip commercials with the press of the timer. Either pause and start the radio in the time specified or have it stop in the time specified. Go to sleep to your favorite internet radio station. See screen shots. You can also launch a radio stream by inputing a text url in apps like Calender and Remember that support active text. Just input "radio:" followed by the internet radio url. If you want a name on the playing screen add a right bracket at the end and a non-space name for it. Then just press it in any app that supports active test and the url will open in Open Radio.

Thanks. Just FYI, you need to have the internet radio urls to input them in. There is no search for them in the app so it does require some understanding of how to find them. You can share your url exports to your friends for them to import too.

Would be nice if a shoutcast search would be integrated.
