I've been actively tweeting a few companies at least once a day for a few months. I and OnStar is one of them. I recent got a few replies from them. Here they are for what it's worth.

With all this talk about mobile computing and seeing what has been done with the high end cars, I'm hopeful and looking forward to the app hitting the US shores. Let's just hope they don't drop the ball.

Plus, it would be ironic if OnStar didn't develop a BB10 native application. If my memory serves correctly, there is at least one OnStar unit that is powered by QNX!

Im from Canada and I sent an email asking about this. Here is what they sent back a week later

I am very sorry that the RemoteLink is currently not supported on the BlackBerry devices. Due to some legal and language requirements, we have not been able to launch RemoteLink for BlackBerry in Canada yet. We are working on it, but do not have a release date at this time. Please stay tuned for future updates

I did sideload and it doesn't work on my phone.
So our only hope is for Onstar to create an app for BB10.
When I wrote to them I got back how they have it for the popular 9930,9900 and 9810 phones and they are working on it for older models.

    not a WORD about BB10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Wow! That's so much BS!!!
How do they get away with this stuff?
We pay WHAT for their services and they can't create an app for the NEWEST BlackBerry phone???
It's why I plan to drop them after my trial period is up!

The side load worked fine on my Z10...it works on my Q10, but it's not made for that screen format, so some things are not visible and some overlap.

You have full fluid access to all of the features with the port?

I'm still trying to hold out on leaks and ports of all kind. Maybe my pride in BlackBerry is really a double edge sword :-/

LOL, sorry JayDee, I didn't mean actual car fluids. I meant, does the app move smoothly, and are you able to really remote start and check vitals like breaks, oil, coolant, and battery? I remember the original QNX app that was shown off allowed for all of that.

    No problem Serkle,
Here's what I can do: lock and unlock doors, remote start from the app, make the horn blow ( and stop all those things).
Here's a screen shot of the fluid thing.

    OnStar for BB10-img_00001444.jpg

it says it's a native app. it looks and functions just like the sideloaded version I had, with the exceptions that it seems to be a hair bit more responsive. And no bottom bar

Happy day!! goes to show that with enough persistence, people are listening to us!

If you read the EULA, it says "your Android device". I wonder if it is really a native app.
