I wonder if there's somewhere we can set this. Otherwise the app is useless to me. Similar to the fact that I can't load it on the work side.

Oh I didn't know photos are downscaled when synced - that's pretty bad.
Anyone notice that photos that they deleted, say for blurry shots, prior to connecting to wifi is still being uploaded to Onedrive?
And I still haven't gotten the 3gb bonus storage!

I would expect that if you have enabled sync for photos that deleting them would only delete them locally. The sync is only one-way. I think you're best to only copy the pics you want sync'd manually esp if you have a habit of taking naughty pics :P
LOL Naughty photos didn't cross my mind when I read that before, I was thinking of bad/poor shots that nobody wants - they have to be deleted twice if photo sync is enabled.
But yes, to echo your post, Onedrive is a one-way sync; it's not a native folder (like it is on Windows) even though it can be accessed with the native file browser.
#PSA:
Speaking of which...back to the naughty photos thing, if you sync to OneDrive and you have one or more windows machines with the onedrive app running, keep in mind those deleted items show up in the recycle bin of each windows box :P
I think you might have missed the idea he is trying to describe...
He said pics taken without wifi therefore has not been synced yet. Then deleted(still off wifi), due to being blurry etc. Still get synced when he does get on to wifi.
I don't think that is supposed to happen.

Ahh..I missed the part about "prior to connecting to wifi"... So unless he has "use cellular network" enabled, I would not expect this to happen either.
Would need to confirm that tho...
Just tested the delete thing...and he's right!
If I disable "use cellular network" and have photo sync enabled, when I take a pic while not connected to wifi then delete it, then connect to wifi, it *does* upload the "nonexistent" deleted picture!
This is a problem...well for most...I guess if you accidentally deleted a picture you're covered :)
I've already reported the downsize issue to the "support" email address for OneDrive and got nothing back...I don't suppose this bug would get a response either.
Docs to go cannot read One note documents which hurts me. Hopefully they will fix this.

That would be a docs to go update...nothing to do with OneDrive.

I think the resizing may be something on MS's side - when using IE to upload there is/was an option for keeping ratio or uploading at 2048x2048. They may have made that a default server-side for uploading via mobile.

That is what I stated.

Sorry...didn't mean to sound condescending...
