Downloaded this app at about 4am yesterday morning (UK time) I then favourited some events, but at 0152 this morning, this happened...


Is this going to do this again? Or is it a one off? I can't have this happening every night during the Olympics!

The only thing that I've seen is my favorites being added to my calendar. Nothing else.

Seems to be hit or miss... got one notification for time change on Men's Large Hill, but nothing for the snowboarding I favourited this morning.

I assume you guys have push notifications switched on from the app's settings page?

Yep have it on. Got 3 messages for gold,silver and bronze medal winners in biathlon but that's it.

Well I only get medal winner push notifications of events I selected as favorites. I thought push messages would remind me of events but I can use the calendar functions for that.

I only 'faved' my country, and I only got reminders about their medals so far. Seems fine to me, if I want to follow specific events I would rather have them in the calendar and not popping up as notifications all the time.

How are you actually supposed to set a specific event to deliver push notifications? Is it by simply setting a specific event as a fave?

Now I seem to be getting all notifications for my selected faves over and over again. That is a bit annoying, even after you delete them you get them again later.

I think 'faving' events is the proper way to get notifications, yes.

Glad I'm not the only one receiving repeat notifications of medal awards!
Nice app, shame the notifications are sporadic! Still, only a few weeks needed for the app!

Extremes is right. I tried faving some events to test the notifications today and did not receive one. I hope this is fixed before Thursday in time for team Canada hockey so I can get alerts for the game I will miss. I emailed the developer a couple days back on the matter with no response as of yet.

Have to blame some of this on The Score app developers who decided to neglect the olympic update for BlackBerry 10, and have me look elsewhere for olympic stats and updates.

I'm in complete agreement here. For just a bit of effort, the Score app could be the app that it should be. So very frustrating seeing it in the subpar state that it's in. The 2010 Olympic games alerts for me were non-stop from the Score app on my 9700. Ugh!!
