Wow, it does seem of a very high quality, but when the permissions pop-up suddenly stated
"MoriartyWorks by Xomo Digital Inc."
I was a bit confused. :s
(It is not listed on the official Sochi website yet, but Xomo Digital/Eventbase seems to be an official developer...)

It does offer a lot of information, and seems to integrate with BB10 flawlessly!

Good question, sent an email to the developers to ask what functions need to run in the background.
For now I can see that the app is almost always idle. So even if it does run, it does not seem to do anything on my end (0 cpu, 0 data usage, just 1mb RAM).

It appears to have the ability to sync the favorite events schedule with your calendar. Considering the event schedules are ever changing, it must monitor event schedule changes and revises you calender as it does. I think it works similar to the way BlackBerry travel works, which is also headless. Dunno, just my theory

Yeah, the colour scheme really fits in with the rest of the Sochi designs. I mostly prefer darker toned apps, but for something like this a bright theme works great!

That's definitely weird. You're right that there doesn't seem to be any setting in the app that impacts font.

Tried playing around with system font size and couldn't really reproduce your issue. Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling? If not, I'd contact the developer.

Un+Re-installed several times. No change. Oh well, it's readable at least. I'll try developer when closer to O ceremonies.

The app runs in headless mode for push notifications. During the Olympics you can enable (in the Settings) to receive push notifications about favourite Athletes, Sports or Countries. (Medal notifications)
