Just change the file extension to .bar or use Chrome. ;)

I had the same thing just now installing 0.8.2, but just long pressed the X to close the app. Then reopened and feed works fine

I haven't updated yet but another thing I find slightly annoying is how long it takes to load contacts when sending snaps.
Ps. I am really impressed at how dedicated you are to getting this thing working man. You will have to set up some way to donate because I am all in

New update should fix the contacts issue when sending snaps.

Hey Nem,
When sending a snap. I don't think we should have the "Sending Snap" with the loading circle, which we have to wait to finish. It should go back to the feeds page and do that in the background like the original app. For example, when you send a snap to multiple ppl on android, it goes to the feeds page and says "Sending bob, Jim, carol, daisy" and then split it up once done. It would be cool to have the same instead of waiting for the loading circle to disappear.

I just tried that too but it didn't fix it.

Thanks! (that was easy)

thats odd.. althogh i am sure this is on nemorys list as it seems to be popping up as common problem!
i guess in the meantime keep trynig? sign out and sign in again... all those kinda things.
+1
agree with this..
Tried logging out and back it several times. Still doesn't do the trick... anything else I should try?

Are you logged in with another device or on an official Snapchat app? If so, log out of that one. If not, try to delete and re-sideload.

I'm working right now fixing bugs. Will push a little update once finished. :) Will reply to all concerns later.
Another bug I have found is it won't close the option menu. It keeps trying to do something but does nothing. It is not the settings menu but the one with 4 drop down boxes. Also is there anyway to downsize the contact select list like the android version. It takes a long time to scroll down the list to find people. On the plus side the speed is better. Doing a great job

Feeds menu has become a little choppy since 0.8.2. But I'm sure that will get ironed out quickly.
Posted via CB10
like what exactly is choppy other than the animation?
When I refresh the feeds it loads the list choppy. Like one by one slowly instead of instantly everything there. Make sense nem?
Posted via CB10
yes. also noticing it sometimes especially when a lot of lists have to be loaded. I suggest you limit the max to show to something smaller. :)
Yea makes sense. I think I have mine set to max which is pointless. Will give it a go:)

Haven't run into any bugs yet!

Found a pretty big bug. When I'm in the feed screen and I click the dots to get to the feed options, I filter my feed my photos or videos. Once I do that I click the X, I get notifications of new snaps (the ones I just filtered) and it does not allow me to X out of the feed options screen unless I close and reopen the app.

I think every dev out there should take all the pages out of Nem's book. This guy is an excellent dev and the way he communicates with the beta testers is amazing. I can see this app rocketing to #1 when its in app world.
