I think you should iron out a few things first, like the sending of videos etc...

The app is really great but if sent to BBW right now ; some users might not give the app the kind of reviews it deserves.

He has said yes but he will refund us beta testers in this thread.

Well technically, he didn't say yes yet lol, he did say beta testers will get a refund, but he's undecided on how he may monetize it, and I can remember catlin suggesting he charge for a brand free version, with none of his developer stuff?

I don't think he should charge for it, but if that's the only way for him to get some sort of payment for all his work, then sure. Because he deserves something for his work.

I think he can turn off shoutbox and probably the ability to import pics to send as a snap, and place a donation method in the app and whoever donates gets those features,...or something like that?

Yeah, normally I wouldn't be for paying for an app another platform has for free.

Or for a 3rd party client for a free app.

But you can see this has a ton of effort, and if it's 99c, i'll pay for It.

I think the app is almost ready the only things that still need to be done is

1. Headless support
2. Sending snaps in the background instead if waiting for them to send
3. Less cluttered tab on the side

That's about it after all the features I just mentioned are implemented that app will be good to submit, but good luck in your other project and thanks for the amazing app people like you can keep blackberry in the game

How bout we request that BlackBerry pay for the app instead to keep it free like the other platforms?

I appreciate your efforts Dev but paying for an app when the official app can be side loaded for free or downloaded for free on other platforms is a turn off to the consumers. Consumers that aren't following this thread could care less about your costs. I know it sucks but it's reality and I hate to see it that way.

I wish BlackBerry would see these 3rd party (big name apps) efforts and look to support them for the sake of consumer.

Sami, you must use the side load method.

This involves loading the .bar file located on page 1.

Just do a quick search in the forums for "side loading bar file."

The notification of a new snap (red star) doesn't clear until after the feeds page is reloaded.
If the last new item is long pressed (to view the snap) the new snap notification should clear.

On the Q10 is parts of the picture still cut off when fit/fill screen is selected like they are shown on the actual snapchat app or are they resized so you can see the full image on the Q10 screen?

How about when you open the app, they should autoload then. Not when you get a snap when the app is open unfortunately (not yet)

Hey Nemory, everytime I try to send a video it fails I took a 2 second clip. Also is it possible to have it so that when recording the video/picture it doesn't make the sound (for secret snaps ! )

Nem0ry, my 2 cents on what needs to be done before this app is submitted..
1. Headless support
2. More reliable (stable,snappy,etc.)
3. Add gestures

Otherwise, great app!
