Loading bar size is now perfect. Nem, when I refresh, it still loads a few snap feeds down and not at the top. Also, all my settings were lost too.

In the active frame, you should also have the option just to display your snap2chat logo and splashscreen. That would make it look nice.

So far the new version came with great fixes and new features but there are some issues still.

1. When taking a snap it takes few clicks to take the photo.

2.uploading a photo will show as a video when u select it to add a captions and other stuff ( the picture below is an attempt of uploading a picture)



3. Stories are buggy ;

A- the loading bar move forward and backward until it's done

B- not all stories shows after finishing the loading

C- still the concept of stories is not that good as you can't see it full screen

D- I don't know how to open a story if it's a video ( I don't know if it shows already in the stories or not )

4. Taking snaps still give it a sharp edges like a border ( same applies in shout box and extended profile picture i)







5.camera shows black screen sometimes ( you have to go to the feed and back again to the camera to get it work)

6. Putting maximum number of snaps on feed to 50 or more will give u the loading circle down running for ever


Using Z10STL100-1/10.2.1.1925

That's so far all I found, will report back when finding anything else

Great job on 0.8.5 Nem!!

A couple of things to note:
-I love the new ghost animation when reloading feeds, it doesnt look as fast and colors change a little slower which I think is perfect.
-I had to switch over to the development server to get feeds loading.

Stories concept is awesome! This is what Ive been waiting for, but just a few things for the next update:
-No way to view our own story. I needed to sign in to the regular snapchat app to see what i posted to my story.
-When viewing a picture in someone's story, you tap on the photo and you see the full photo but its a bit small. Hopefully for the next one the photo opens full screen when you tap it.
-videos that play on the regular snapchat app in my story come up as blank in snap2chat stories.

Thats all ive found so far!

I'm not a Snapchat user, and hence I don't have any need for Snap2chat. However, I have been following this thread very closely for the past couple of weeks and I just wanted to say that the developer is amazing and extremely hardworking. The rate at which he pushes out updates is brilliant.

I'm sure the whole BB10 community will appreciate developers like him! Really, amazing job! You have a fan!

Also, when you stop viewing comments and return back to the shout box; shoutbox reloads sending you back to the top.

After liking a shout and reloading shoutbox, the unlike button changes into a like button again. It also adds another like until you reload again, then it's like you unliked it.


It makes more sense for me to see the comments descend by date, seeing the newest one by the comment input.

1. Upon pull to reload - if you get a new Snap from someone, it does not show as the bounce back upon reload leaves the new Snap above the fold (you have to pull the screen down to see the new Snaps).
2. Depending upon where you access the camera from you get inconsistent behavious (from top left Camera icon - it works fine), (from the BB bottom left menu, select Camera, you can not take a picture).
3. Old feed have the wrong time on them. I have older feeds that say they are 70k+ days old.
4. Upon start - the camera shows a black screen. You have to toggle in and out of it to get it active.

Will write more as I find it. Thanks for all the hard work!

This gets fixed by killing the app and restarted. Good question though.

I am still getting the time ago error, but it seems like it's only within the app not on the active frame.

This is on the latest version # 0.8.5.

I just wanted to let you know that every time I get a Video Snap from a friend, it loads but then a pop-up comes up saying "File and media is unsupported"

That only happens if the snap was a video. If it's a photo, then it works fine.

Please help.

I'm really enjoying snap2chat right now, it only needs some bug fixes to go live ! haha
So far on 0.8.5 i've come across these bugs :

1-When you have BB10Camera option and want to go back on the feeds it will take you to a blackscree snap2chat camera and then you can go the feed.

2- If you have BB10Camera and take a picture but you don't send it, it will take you back to snap2chat camera instead of BB10 one.

3-You can't double tap to add a caption somewhere, anymore (don't know if its working as intended).

4-If you want to see someone story it won't load it as if it was a snap but instead it will load each picture of the story separatly ( If you don't see what I meant I'll post pictures haha)

Also i'd like to know if you plan on adding the feature where it will show you if your snap got screenshotted !

I don't agree with that feature. It defeats the purpose of Snapchat because the whole point of snapchat is for messages to only be viewable for up to 10 seconds.

I agree with you, however official Snapchat has the feature now too. Can't recall if it is limited to 1 per day?

It's already there since earlier releases

Though when you capture a snap using snap2chat they will not be notified that you did lol
