Hey Nem! Thanks for this update. The refresh ghost is very cool. The only bug I found until now is the number of days of my snaps... 104659 days ago! Hahahaha

I think a great feature to include would be the front flash that the official snapchat added in their ios version, it would be good for taking front facing photos in the dark

Yeah but you have to go to settings then additional services then select everything

It basically makes the screen go white for a half a second while it takes the picture. It's pretty convenient, I saw it for the first time a few days ago.

The image zooming in the shout box is still off when you click someone's image. Would be ideal to have it like BBM update tab when you click someone's picture.

When refreshing feeds, the new ghost animation has a big lag when it finishes refreshing. Personally, I think the size of the refresh animation can be reduced a bit. Just my opinion. Thoughts everyone?

I wish I have a z30 in my hand. Also don't know why it behaves differently on all devices. The system should vertically center those icons in te.title bar. But will add to the list and will.tryt o work on it tomorrow.

Yeah noticed it also lags. But will work on it tomorrow. Also the zooming of images should be fixed tomorrow. will also implement comments and likes. A lot of stuffs arw going to happen.

Just tested the 8.2 beta on my Q10. Looks great! Couple of things I noticed:

-i have an existing Snapchat account, but snap2chat wouldn't retrieve my friends list. So I have no contacts, despite my actually existing contacts in Snapchat.

-when holding the round button to record a video, it takes me to the video rec. Screen as if I were to record from my camera (and not in snap2chat), then I have to tap the screen again for it to start recording. Not sure if this is done on purpose.
I couldn't add captions, tapping the captions bar would only trigger playback of the video.

-the clock for the max. viewing time is there for videos too, how does that work?

-the caption box is laggy when trying to move it around a picture.

-pictures taken with the front camera get inverted.

-when holding the button to record a video from the front camera, it takes me to the "video rec. Screen" and flips to the back camera.

Sending videos doesn't work just yet. Also I suggest you use snap2chat camera instead of bb10 camera. The mirroring is actually normal for all smarphones, even if you try to take a pic with the built in camera app. if you take a pic with the back cam and take a pic with front cam you can compare the result. Which should be the same. Also yes videos also have max timers. But will add a replay function.

I just downloaded the 8.200 beta, I'm running 10.2.1.1925. The app looks great, however people have told me that when I send them snaps its just a white screen, and I do not receive any snaps from people, I have to log into the android version to get people's snaps. I don't know if its the OS version I'm using, just though I would point that out.

8.2 is nice.

Couple of issues :

1. Sending snaps take for ever, though they are sent.

Ps.the only way I know it's sent even if it takes for ever is the notification I get in the hub cuz I send the snap to myself as well

2. When taking a snap or even uploading one the border of the image is sharp or I don't know how it is just see the picture below




3. The mobile number was snapchat number auto filled, though my display name disappeared but my email was there.

Nemory it's people like you that are the solution to the app gap. Thank you so much for bringing this app to bb10, and with more features than the actual Snapchat app, it should be them taking advice from you!!!!!

Seriously though. Thank you!!!

And btw. No new bugs to report. Just what has been reported so far, plus video that needs to be fixed and also painting feature.

It has come a long way and is nice and fast now.

Hoping someone can help here. I am trying to download the bar file but I keep getting a zip file. I'm not using my normal laptop that I used to download and sideload a previous beta verions as I am home at my mom's for the holidays. Any suggestions? I have already downloaded DDPB to sideload it just can't seem to get the bar file.
