Hey Nemory, I found a bug on 2.2.7.1

When you click a profile to see best friends and then go back and enter a new profile, the old profile beat friends are still there. Doesn't update.

And no, $50 won't fix it.

How do I restore my cache now that I've lost it after deleting and installing the latest version? It was backed up before the delete.

The backup should be in device/misc/ you can't restore it, instead if you want to view it you can go to that folder and see the snaps there

Thanks Nem, I'd figured that out. Is a restore function something that could be implemented in a future release, or just not possible?

Nem, you shouldn't have released 2.2.401.1 to BlackBerry World because now it shows up as an update (since it's theoretically higher than the beta zone version 2.2.7.1)
The only way to fix it is if your next beta zone versions go in the 2.3.x

(btw this might be related to the crash. Even tho I deleted by holding down snap2chat and deleting, it still shows up in my BlackBerry World so it looks like I also have to uninstall from there) though I don't get crashes.

He could put the beat zone with a number greater than 401 like 2.2.402.4 and it won't push the notification.

I delete cache after I open the app and lock. Otherwise maximum 5mb cache size.

Didn't crash since I updated via Beta Zone!

Not sure why my app keeps crashing now too. Barely had this problem before. Running the latest update via BlackBerry World not the beta.

It crashes 80% of the time if I open and minimize the app before it fully loads.

Okay? Thanks for reiterating my point there genius. I just meant that it had to be higher, and 40x just looks weird so why not use 2.3.x , but yes that would work too.

Hey, I have a z30 sta-5 running 10.3.296. I have snap2chat. The newest version from the app world. Sometimes I have a problem when I am sending a snap, the send will fail to send. Once i click send on the snap, it will be stuck on "Uploading Snap", and usually the only fix i have is to, restart the app, retake the snap, and resend the pic. It doesnt look like there is a tap to retry because it will stay on uploading for ever. this problem only happens sometimes, and ususally the snaps will send fine. I am usually always on 4G LTE or HSPA+. I rarely ever use wifi. i have checked permissions and they aregood. Any help?

That's so much, how is that even possible? Whenever you update Snap2Chat, you lose all your cache. So that would mean one of two things, either you're still at a very early build or that's since 2.7.1 in which case...whoa that's a huge load of snaps.

I just wipe cache in startup. Never had a crashing issue on startup.

I'm not sure myself. I'm thinking I didn't lose my cache when it updated.
