I think I will finally take off Enhance Video Recorder. It just improves recording speed like 1.5sec. It's a one source for crash too when thr phone is in low ram

I think anyone with crashing issues should take screenshots of their settings plus give their phone model and OS.

Hey Nem, I was thinking maybe you could implement a "smart refresh" option to help save data? For example, for the 10 minutes after a snap is received, set refresh to every minute, Greater than 10 minutes will lower the refresh time to 2 mins, and greater than an hour sets it to every 3 or 4 mins.

It would save data when the app isn't being used (ex. Over night or when incoming snap volume is low) and when you're receiving a lot of snaps ("snap conversation") it'll refresh quicker.

I'm just trying to find a middle ground that will make it easier on data but still seem to have a "push" feeling to it.

I think you should be able to customize the refresh times. Maybe have three choices.

"After a snap refresh every (insert choice).
After 10 minutes refresh every (insert choice)
After 30/60 min refresh every (insert choice)"

I'd probably set it to 5, 10, 15

That's another option. He could also add other criteria like when the phone is in bedside mode refresh every 30 mins etc.

Was having major crash and "no network" issues. Deleted it. Restarted my phone. Installed it again. No issues with it since. (been about a week)

Mine is crashing via latest download in the beta zone. It seems to crash if I leave it open and try to send multiple snaps or send a mass snap out. It doesn't matter if my cache is cleared or my notifications were cleared. Idk what could cause it. Sorry I haven't been very active nem I've been busy with graduation and work

Cache is current 12.9 mb but even at 0mb s2c crashes several times randomly throughout the day. Sometimes in the middle of recording a snap it will sign me out.

I don't think the PlayBook supports cascades. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it would need to be rewritten.

Crashing again on open here after cache has built up... clearing cache solves it for a few hours then it states again
