Personally, I would consider removing hub integration. And just having headless with a regular notification like before.

While hub integration is really cool, if it's causing so many issues, maybe washing your hands of the whole thing is better.

Could we make show in hub an user selectable option?

I also think the problem may be memory, but I am running 10.3 SDK and the inept Blackberry employees released it without the device manager. It runs ok for a while after a re boot.
What if the hub would only give a canned message of a new snap and use hub a gateway to the actual app. Would that take less memory?

    Posted via CB10
That's kind of what I was thinking. Just have the hub show the picture/video and have the "compose" button open the app.

I agree, but only until the hub integration can get fixed.

Hopefully the 10.3 gold SDK will provide better support for developers using the hub integration.

Yeah Nem, test your latest Snap2chat with all of hub integration disabled/removed like you did for a version in the past. See if that fixes most headless problems and go from there.

If not then the headless portion will need to get debugged before proceeding.

Do remember which version that was? I will try to reload since I saved all the bars. Maybe 1.0.1?

Yes, 1.1.0.1 is the version that worked headless without hub integration.

Makes no sense shy the headless stops after a while
    Maybe cause we're in 10.3?

My 2.0.5 has been running stable in the back ground since I installed it. It even starts itself after a reboot. 2.0.4 never restarted after a reboot. I'm on 10.2.1, and I don't get very many snaps, but so far this build has been very solid for me.

I'm not sure it's wise to report bugs if your running a leaked os that is known to have stability issues. The bugs you report may be with the os and not the app.

Personally, I like the active frame that Nem has created over running headless. It's one fewer a step to click on the frame than to open the hub and open Snap2Chat from there. Would it be possible to run the app in active frame but with hub integration, just not headless?

I am on 10.3 SDK and no notifications at all with 2.0.5 and there are stale notifications that I can't even delete. I have cleared the feeds and they are still there. From within the HUB if I select the icon to compose nothing happens. The app will not open up.

Headless is more important for those of us who don't typically leave apps open in active frames.

If you always have it running in an active frame wouldn't that make hub only access rather pointless? It would be just as easy to open the app from the active frame, look for updates or new snaps, then throw it back to an active frame in the background.

OK, I am back to 1.1.0.1 and notifications are all working. The only problem is I get an announcement screen which has a blank message ever time I open snap2chat.

I really think the hub here is the one who crashes the headless. Let me try to disable the hub in 2.1

Snap2Chat v2.1 now in Beta Zone

Temporarily Removed Hub but still has Headless Notifications.

This is to test if Headless will never crashed. I added a notification when Headless will crash.

Thank you so much to all who helps Snap2Chat shape better. Let's confirm if Snap2Chat 2.1 is in good condition so we can move on to bring more features.

OK I got 2.1 installed on my Q10. Notifications are working and I will monitor it to see what happens.
Will there be a message when headless crashes or how will I know?
