Strange. I haven't had any problems but I'm still running the BlackBerry World pre-headless version. Stupid question but do you have your login information checked off to be stored for you so you don't have to log in every time you open the app?

Yeah I do, I tried restarting my phone. I think that might have done the trick, but we'll see

I hope so too. Sometimes all you need is a restart to clear up something that's getting in the way.

I have had some issues with my camera not starting on Snap2chat, I'm using 10.3 so idk if that makes a difference or not.

10.3 is not supported by any app developer... not yet anyway...

Snap2Chat 1.1 definitely brought back the crash on startup problem.

I hope you'd look into it, Nem. Because this time, rebooting the device isn't fixing it. Only waiting it out has worked for me, but the crashing happens maybe twice to thrice a day. It gets frustrating when I'm in a rush to use Snapchat because someone sends me a snap and I still get notified for it, and I wouldn't be able to view it or reply without waiting for the crashing to end.

Did you try killing the headless and restarting the app?

Yeah. The new headless feature is what I suspected at first, so I tried all work arounds that involved it.

Do you by any chance have "wipe cache on app start" set to "on"? I remember hearing that people who had it turned on were having the crashing issue.

It's strange, because I've never had the app crash while starting. It must be a specific setting that is causing it.

Yep. That feature has been off since replayable snaps were first announced.

It would be easy to change that if I can start the app in the first place.

Restart the device or uninstall and reinstall? Personally I've not had this problem for way over a month so I'm not 100% sure

Weren't people also having problems with crashes when the cache got too big? People were carrying ~500 mb and wondering why the app kept crashing at startup, but when they cleared it the app worked flawlessly. I remember people asking about automatically clearing anything older than a week or a certain number of days you would set as a possible fix. I'd ask you about how large your cache was if you save every single snap, but you would need to be able to open it first to find out. Maybe it would better suit you to screen shot everything and clear the cache at startup?

I clear out the cache when it exceeds 150MB. I'm sure it can't be that. I managed the open the application and clear it out, but the crashes just seem to happen randomly.

Has anyone had the problem where their feeds aren't loading? Is that what the crash is? I always clear my cache so I don't think that's the problem
