I'm hoping it won't be. I believe BlackBerry has a limit on headless apps that they can only use a certain amount of resources.

The active frame on snap2chat Is pretty power hungry. Uses 8-10% of my battery throughout the day.

8-10% for the DAY? Not sure what length of time you're referring to, but making a modest estimate of a "day" consisting of 10 hours, that's less than 1% per hour. Pretty good if you ask me.

Well, I'm comparing it to other apps that I have open and only use 3-4%. Snap2chat isn't terrible, I'm saying that it could be better considering it's idle.

yes! anytime you can use both but you can't run headless without getting it from bb world. I will post announcements once I make it. the snap2chat hardcores have access to the sandbox, they can be able to run headless apps. I will try to audition more hardcores

Awesome to hear Nem! Headless would be great for this app, hub integration can wait until you figure out the implementation but headless would be awesome, but honestly don't hurt yourself we can all be patient. This isn't life or death, it's only an app. Thanks again for an amazing app, I have no problem paying for quality, like I said before.

not the same, headless will let the app run in background, the app can pull notifications in background without openining the app.

hub integration is the ability for an app to post notifications in the hub but customizable like change hub notification icon and you can reply directly. just like how facebook and twitter aps are integrated compared to normal bell notifications

While headless is exciting, I'd really like for the q10 to take photos in the app in the correct orientation. Currently it takes landscape photos, but when you hold the phone sideways it takes portrait photos that don't fill the screen (on regular android/iphone devices).

Bought the app to show my support, looking forward to the updates.

Tried to send PayPal now (wow it's hard to get to PM's on Crackberry, I got no alert of a PM and I had to login on laptop to find the PM!)

Got this error unfortunately when trying to send the $0.99:
Currently PayPal accounts in Egypt are only able to send payments. This recipient is not eligible to receive funds.


Does anyone else know of a solution to get around this? If not maybe Nem can help you out?
