I am also experiencing the black screen when i try to send it to myself.

I f u can help me and im just taking a photo with my camera on my Q5 and also it does not let me add anyone

Okay... here's an even updated one. I changed some code.. I don't get black snaps.. I hope this even improves even more.. please let me know if you still get.. this is version 0.9.303... but same download link 0.9.301...

Whoa! Talk about a memory leak. Never seen an app use so much on my Z10, ever. I do have auto refresh every 60 seconds..

It worked for about a half hour. Now my snaps are all black again

Yes same link....

So, just found out that my friends with galaxy phones can only open snaps that are pictures from my device. They cannot open any regular snaps

With the new build. I can send picture snaps with captions and the recipient can open. But when I send video snaps they receive it but they can't open it.

There will be an update later. Gonna fix the memory leak and black snaps again will do my best to prevent. Also will improve loading animation lags.

so I just got out of work. It's 1:30am so I can't test the auto refresh with anyone. But when I send snaps to myself I can see them, unless I post them to my storyboard. But when I send snaps to iPhone, they reported every other snap was black. And android could not view any snap. Like it won't open and it sits in my feed as being unopened but it's sent. I have no issue viewing snaps sent to me. I'll report any changes later today.

After doing extensive testing, I swear I went through 100 snaps to myself,

1) open app set refresh on - 10 seconds
2) close app
3) open app
4) go to feeds - wait for auto refresh - after auto refresh finishes send pic to myself (10 second time span to have the auto refresh happen during sending or taking a pic)(flash not go off I have it set to on)
5) get sent to feeds - wait for auto refresh to happen - after auto refresh sent and received snap appear
6) open - black
7) ran that procedure like 10 times, all black


1) set refresh to 20 seconds
2) close app
3) open app
4) go to feeds wait for auto refresh - after auto refresh finish send pic to myself before the next auto refresh (hence 20 second time span to do it)(flash goes off)
5) get sent to feeds - wait for auto refresh to happen - after auto refresh sent and received snap appear
6) open - good
7) ran that procedure like 10 times, all good

1) set refresh to 1000 seconds
2) close app
3) open app
4) go to feeds wait for auto refresh - after auto refresh finish send pic to myself (flash does not go off)
5) get sent to feeds - manually pull down to refresh feeds - manual refresh sent and received snap appear
6) open - good
7) ran that procedure like 10 times, all good

Thanks so much Richard that's a very good effort of testing you made. Thanks so much.. so now I think this is the clear evidence of the issue. I already have in mind how to prevent it even with 10 below second refresh interval. I hope it will work good.

I did just try it on 2 second refresh interval and it worked for some reason, tried 4 times. So I don't know. Maybe due to memory leaks.
