    For the last couple days, every time someone I have subscribed to shares a picture or shares a post. I get a notification. Is there anyway to change this to only status updates?

    I think this is an issue on Facebook side. I am gettin the same type of thing on my Android device. Its annoying!

    Been happening all if a sudden to me too. You need to go into your friends list on FB website (full or mobile) and turn off get notifications for each one. If you're one of those with 700 or so friends then you're in for a long one sorry. Only got 78 so was easy.
