    No PayPal for blackberry?-img_00001205.png

Why isn't there a PayPal app for BlackBerry, there's a windows one but not one for blackberry.

    Honestly, I don't understand PayPal.

We should all write them an email or something.

My overly productive z10 needs this app, and native too.

Yeah, they definitely should have one. I've been thinking about sideloading one.

A few months back I closed my RBC accounts for good reasons. They were sad to see a customer go or my money anyway. They asked why I was switching, I said they didn't have a Rbc app for my BlackBerry (a small part of the reason).

I think they were annoyed, they finally released the app not because of me ofc.

I actually have a side loaded version of their Paypal app on my Z10, not sure where I picked it up from but it works quite well. Other than for mobile payment transaction ability everything else works.

All this side loading makes these companies think they don't have to produce quality apps for BlackBerry... kind of sad.

The first post shows Paypal on the phone's browser. What does the app do that the web site can't do?

You are absolutely right! Paypal execs should be prosecuted under the RICO act! People have no idea how criminal this organization is. Just Google it and you will find thousands of cases of people who got their money stolen by PayPal with no explanation. And you can't even sue them because when you open your account, under the terms of service you waive all your rights, including the right to sue. And they don't give a **** who you are, they froze Ron Paul's account a while ago. Not to mention Wikileaks's account they froze and confiscated all the money

I am with this guy, Apple has done a fantastic job convincing the world that we need an "app for that" or everything for that matter. The BB10 browser is fantastic and beats every other browser hands down. Use it instead of a cheap app that mimics a half hearted browser...plus it is more secure than any app...something I think you would want for accessing our PayPal account.

What does the PayPal app do that the website doesn't?

Unlike a banking app whose main draw for an app is check deposits I'm not sure why I need a PayPal app if everything I need can be done off the mobile or even desktop version of their pages.

Nah, I think BlackBerry 10 users are realizing just how good the stock browser really is. No app, no problem.

My sarcasm detector is going berzerk....... Think if a person does 2000 PayPal transactions a day, those extra 4 clicks really add up.

I want a Pay Pal app so I can use the credit card dongle. I don't want to sideload. I've emailed Pay Pal many times and got the pat "we're looking at it". I don't want to use Square (which would also need to be side loaded) because I don't want to open a new account.
And in 15+ years I have never had an issue with Pay Pal and they went to bat for me on a transaction that went sour.

With the rip off fees paypal charges there is no excuse for them not to make a native BlackBerry 10 app.
