Just go to testmy.net in your browser. I think it gives a more accurate result.

Why must it be native? Android's speedtest app works just fine.

    Speed Tester - BlackBerry World
Will have a look at this one and see how it compares to Android's speedtest app.

Hmm I just read the news section of SpeedTester. Apparently it is an Air app, and as such will not run on 10.3? But I have it running on the leaked 10.3, so I am not sure how that would work.

Air apps will not work on 10.3.1 not 10.3

Still a weird choice, removing something that works. In that case I would probably suggest a browser-based speedtester at that point, just add a homescreen icon for it and it will look and feel like an app.

Which is not the case for me with SpeedTester. I compare with all my devices at home and it never gave me an accurate result.

Ookla works fine to me, and before the Android app, it was already the reference for Internet speed tests.

BlackBerry should just build one into the OS. An app is fine, but I'd rather just navigate to my device monitor or the BlackBerry Virtual Expert App (which should also be built into the OS), and check my data speeds there.

Please do, that would be so awesome bro, even if it was a paid app :O I would buy it. Currently there are none as 10.3 doesn't support air.

I agree with you. We all use it. Tools to test and check WiFi signal and speeds should be built into the OS. As useful as the flashlight

And obviously, average battery discharge percentage (per hour) within the last day, last week, last month, last 6 months, year, all time. :P

Yes, we need native iperf utility, that would be the best solution for testing network any ways. Iperf - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
