Sooo, MLB released a new at bat for Android/Amazon/Apple/WP for the 2015 season and BB is conspicuously absent, which leads me to question if there will or will not be an app this year for bb10, and if anything offical either way is known?

Also, a similiar question, how do i sync calendars, because that was the nicest part for me

There better be a MLB at Bat app for BlackBerry. I like my new Passpot-but I love baseball.

It was always a higher revenue app in BlackBerry World so hopefully they'll find it is worth their time. I'm what I would call a very casual fan, but would pay to have the app again this year.

It's nice to be able to listen to games puttering around the garden or while working.

I sent a message to the developer and I all got for a response was "please check the availability of the app for BlackBerry 10 as spring training approaches "...hmm

If you go to your team's page on mlb.com and go to their schedule page, there's an option to download an iCal file which you can then import into your device's calendar.

Last year it came out February 25th for BB 10 so maybe we'll see something by the end of the month.

Just saw this thread as this was about the time I got the app last year and have been looking out for it. Ran great on the Z30 last year and waiting for the Passport app any day, please! MLB has been on all my BB10 devices so far. Let's not change that, especially the first time they are adding spring training. Let's Go!!!!

Anyone heard any word on a native BB At Bat app? It looks like the Android version of the paid MLB At Bat app was released today:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....gameday.atbat

If we're not getting a native app, has anyone tried the Android version or know whether it run on BB10? Figured I'd ask before I spend the $19.99

I emailed MLB customer service yesterday and received the below reply today. So here's hoping the Android version will work. Does any app expert out there know for sure whether or not it will?

    Dear MLB.com Mobile User,

Thank you for your inquiry. At Bat is available for supported Apple and Android mobile devices for the 2015 season. Support for the BlackBerry 10 platform will not be available for the 2015 season. We appreciate your feedback regarding your desire for the application and will share it internally.

If you have any additional questions, please contact Customer Service at 866-800-1275 (US) or 512-434-1542 (International).

    Sincerely,
    MLB.com Customer Service

This is so disappointing. My subscription for MLB.TV Premium 2015 just kicked in and it doesn't support my primary/preferred device.

10.3.1 is not out for VZW so I can't test how the android app works...

It installed ok for me using Snap, but it says it won't run without Google Play services. It looks like that might just be for notifications though. I guess we'll know for sure when the season starts.

    This is disappointing news.

Perhaps there is / will be, a work around on the android version to bypass the google requirements .

I replied to the email response I posted earlier and expressed my disappointment. If there was an app last year (and frankly every year since At Bat was first offered) I don't see why there can't be one this year. How hard is it to update last year's? Maybe if enough of us call and/or email they will reconsider. Here's the email address the reply to my inquiry came from: mlb14@maileu.custhelp.com. Phone numbers are in my earlier post.

Can you use the version you downloaded from Snap to view archive games? If so, the video feature should work for when the real games begin. The audio feature seems like a no-brainer to work since it works with most other audio apps.

I downloaded the snap version, which is the free version. But I do get the "needs Google Play Services to run" notice so that's what concerns me. I have some side loaded apps that still run, even though I get that notice and others that don't run without it. So before I try to install the paid At Bat I thought maybe an app expert here would be able to tell us whether it would work. If no one knows I'll spend the $19.99 to find out. Or better yet wait until we get closer to the season and see if MLB changes its mind. I seem to recall a season a year or two ago when they said no BlackBerry App but then they came out with one right before the season began. Anyone else remember that?
