This may be common knowledge, but I just noticed that with Verizon Wireless, the NFL mobile app has free live NFL Network, as well as Sunday, Monday. and Thursday night games and some local Sunday afternoon (last year it was $5/month). I had a few hiccups with the app last year, but it is working well so far this year. I watched the preseason game last night.

You still have to pay $1.99/month for NFL red zone, but the free games are a nice bonus for Verizon users. the app is in BBW.

Android works, but the app doesn't recognize me being on VZW network. The app shows as unavailable in BBM for the Z30.

Yeah, I actually decided to find out and did some digging. The app is supposedly in testing right now, but no eta. I am done with Verizon, as it took me way to long to get the information. More details on that in another post. It is absolutely ridiculously. The phone has been out almost a year, still no app. Verizon had no damn idea, and neither did BlackBerry.

Somehow I got NFL Mobile on my Z30,.. must have been when I did the device switch from my Z10. It worked and still mostly works, except that now it keeps asking me to update the app. If I tap on "open BlackBerry World to update", the update rectangle in BlackBerry World is greyed out.

I'm guessing the BAR file in that 2013 thread is just as old if not older, so you'll have the same issues.

I believe you have to make a backup image of your phone in link and then extract the apps from the backup image.
