App Name: Moka File Manager

Main Features:

Native file manager to access local/remote file in one place (ftp client, ftp server, samba client in one):

1. Local memory file/SDcard file searching with regular expression support, so you needn't to navigate folder by folder again.
a) Multiple-selection and operations are supported, such as copy, move, delete, etc.
b) You can rename, new folder, open/share files and query detail information (including hex file header view to confirm file type)
c) Locking files to security zone or unlock it.
d) Enable internal ftp server so that others can access your sharing via ftp. You can protect the sharing by setting username/password and define sharing list dynamically.

2. Remote ftp server access
a) Bulk download, upload if permission is allowed
b) No second login needed for same sharing
c) Preview files in ftp server (txt, png, pdf, mp3, etc)

3. Remote samba server access
a) Bulk download, upload if permission is allowed. It is tested with Windows7, 8 and BlackBerry 10 mobile phone sharing in LAN network.

c) Preview files in samba server (txt, png, pdf, mp3, etc)

4. Security zone
Local memory / SDCard file can be locked in security zone or unlocked from security zone. The locking operation can also be protected by password if preferred (configured in 'setting' swipe down menu).

I have been looking for a solid Ftp client for bb10. I already have an Ftp server app that was free so that's half of what I need

This has the other half plus other features, so I might bite hut $8 is a bit steep, for my use case...I just am too lazy to walk over to the computer to drag and drop, but this could be a fantastic solution for someone with more needs than i

1. remove background picture
2. add option to show or hide dot files
3. keep the last position after rename/copy/... operation
4. progress indicator when app is minimized
5. possible to abort long term operation (ex: copying big file)

Hi visvic,

I was looking for a Samba file manager for the Q10 and so came to Moka. As there are not many other options, I bit the bullet and purchased it for the hefty price.
But so far, I'm quite disappointed. I could connect to my samba share without any issues (yeah!). I can also browse them and even quite fast.
But when copying a file to my local storage (where more than enough space is available), Moka crashes regularly
I managed to copy one file but as soon as the file is larger than 100M - no chance.

No worries, let's try FTP then- I thought - Maybe that's more stable. But not at all! Only trying to connect to FTP lets Moka crashes.
I'm feeling ripped off right now

Any thoughts what causes these crashes - or is there anything how I can assist to debug these problems?

Thanks for the feedback. Just as the reply in Email, I'll require the samba server info for further test. Ftp crash (confirmed as the wrong URL exception handling) will be fixed soon. Welcome for further suggestions. Thanks.
