We are about to release a new app called 'Rain'. Before official release we would like to run a small beta test. If you are interested and help us iron any remaining major bugs out (and preferably are in the US, UK or Ireland so we you can test push notifications!), please send me a short PM with your BlackBerry ID and I will add you to our BlackBerry World testing sandbox.

How to install:

Once you have been added to the sandbox you will have to enable 'Development Mode' on your phone. You can find it in BlackBerry Settings > Security and Privacy > Development Mode. After I have added you to the sandbox, go to BlackBerry World, access the app menu by swiping down and select 'Settings'. Go to 'Development Mode', then enter the Content ID 59956909 and select Load.

If you get a 'Content not Found' error, please try again later (in 1 or 2 hours). It sometimes takes a little while before new releases are available.

About Rain:


Rain will tell you at a glance exactly when it will rain up to an hour in advance, so you can walk the dog or have that barbecue in the park and know you’ll stay dry.

IMPORTANT: One-hour rain forecasts/push notifications are only available in the US, UK and Ireland.

YOUR WEATHER, DOWN TO THE MINUTE
Using your phone's GPS, Rain is able to provide forecasts for your precise location, including minute-to-minute rain predictions for the next hour as well as detailed forecasts for the next day and week.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
Rain will send you a notification right before it starts raining at your exact location! Even if Rain is not running.

BEAUTIFUL
Rain shows your weather in a beautiful, easy to glance interface. All the information you need to plan your day and week are displayed in a single screen. You can choose between a light and a dark theme for the Rain app.
