BlackBerry just published a new application on BlackBerry World called BlackBerry Express. It's basically a replacement of PowerPoint, and makes it super easy to make presentations and present them on an external display.

I actually like it a lot.

    Here are a few screenshots:

I have got it now, I had to go to the CB app on my Z10, open the story on Express and click the link from there.

Pretty awesome, I just wish it would let you 'share' (via BBM or whatever) the actual dynamic presentation to other users that have BlackBerry Express installed. As it is, I can only figure out how to export a static html version of it (which, actually renders pretty well in Chrome, BB10 Browser and Android's Dolphin)... it's just missing all the flow and transitions.

It's still in beta and there's a feedback button. Tell them you want a shar button.

You need 10.2 minimum to run the app. Perhaps you don't have that upgrade yet.

Not sure if any of you have tried it before, but there is a 'Screen Recorder' app on BBW for $0.99 that lets you capture a video of your screen. It's actually pretty sweet, and is a temporary work around for 'exporting' these presentations as video clips. Below is a link to one I quickly put together just to test it out.

ESCON, aminrajabi and Ben1232 like this.

I have just submitted my application 'ekkes Express Charts' to BlackBerry World. The app integrates with BlackBerry EXPRESS and enables you to create charts on-the-fly. first version with Bar Charts and Slider Charts - more types will follow soon.

I downloaded app and it looks fantastic. I liked demos included, very slick. However, being used to PowerPoint for so long, I have trouble to create meaningful presentation, I think I'm to stuck in thinking in terms of content loaded slides. Any advice about how to approach Express would be welcome.
