I've been chipping away at an IRC client for the platform, and I'm getting close to releasing an Alpha version for people to play with.

For those now in the kno, IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat and it's what people used before other IM tools became popular. It's still alive and well today and is mostly used in the software development community. Also, it's the technology Twitch uses for their chat feature.

I don't have a name yet... I'm thinking bIRC? Open to suggestions.

I know it's a bit cheesy, but what about 10RC? The 1 is an I and 10 for bb10. Or you could do 1oRC.

Hmm.. I was suggesting bIRC (play on mIRC, which I sort of grew up with during the mid teenage years).

Totally missed that you had mentioned it on the first post!
