    App Name: Signal Notify
    Summary:
Signal Notify will blink your device's LED if it is connected to the cellular network. It's pretty simple functionality and and lets you know right away if your device is connected to a network. Based on how popular it is, I'll also make sure to add new features and updates.

    Current Features:
    • Blink LED if signal is available
    • Blink LED if signal is unavailable
    • Set LED blink color
    • Set LED blink rate

If you find any bugs or have any suggestions please feel free to message me, or use the contact email

Does this differentiate between mobile network (phone only)and data services? For months I have been looking for an app that would LED blink when data services are being used. Reason being, my wifi sometimes drops so I want to know if my data services is on at all times.
    Thanks man....

Currently it only blinks the led under two options:
    - When the cellular network is connected and available
    - When the cellular network is disconnected

I'm planning to add a feature where it'll provide the same functionality, but for WiFi, which seems like it would meet your needs. I'll be sure to update this thread when I do so!

I like the app but the timing seems to be off. For example when I set the LED to blink at 10 second intervals it blinks much faster - I know it's not the phone because BeBuzz works perfectly at the set intervals - can you check this?

I'll try to have any timing issues fixed for the next version, currently I have version 1.1 pending approval in BB World (Headless support!), and it should improve the timing a bit.

I also like the app. Timing is still off in the headless version also opening the UI causes a revert to default settings. OS7 blinks at 3 seconds so it might be worth offering 3 seconds for users wanting a legacy feel.

I'll add the 3 second timing option in the next version ( I definitely want to be on-par with os7, so please mention anything else like this!)
I've noticed the settings issue, and already have a fix for it - still need to look into the timing issue though. Hopefully I'll be able to release an update in a couple weeks, along with a new feature or two

    Hi All!

It's been a little while, however I *just* submitted a new version for approval to BB World (Version 1.2.70)

    Changes:
    • Added active frame
    • Added 3 second blink rate (Thanks Nomad-888!)
    • Added changes dialog
    • Fixed longer blink rates (Thanks docfreed & Nomad-888!)
    • LED no longer blinks after restart if disabled
    • Settings no longer reverts to default when UI is opened (Thanks Nomad-888!)
    • Improved headless service performance
    • Shrunk app size

I'll update once its approved, hopefully it'll only take a couple days

    The update is now live!
