    Any time you play music constantly you are going to use battery.
    I have the same battery drain when I use the native player as well as Neutron.

    I'll keep my eyes on it, but I don't get much battery drain when playing native player. I'll watch it though.

    It has improved greatly. When it first launched as an Android port, is was terrible.

    Now I don't find it to be overly strenuous on the battery..
