Summary
Just to let you know I have updated my app Net Shares File Explorer.
This is an app to browse your network shared drives (SAMBA) and copy files between them and your local device. Works both on Playbook and BB10.
This is an Android app, not a native one.

And now, beside copying files, you can just watch your videos and listen to your favorite music without having to copy the files, just streaming them. You have also de option to play all media files in a folder, i.e. music. It should play most of video and audio files supported by the device.
Hope you find it useful, I've been looking for this for a long time.

Just bought and used it. Wonderful. Was looking for this type of functionality to stream to my phone. Also can connect HDMI to put on the TV. Wish it was native, but it does the job. Keep up the good work. Wouldn't mind some updates along the way...
