I just downloaded the new Whatsapp upgrade (version 2.11.840.2)... but after loading it won't open. I get an error message that I'm running an unsupported OS (10.3.0.296)

Where can I find the old version of Whatsapp?

I found a workaround... I installed WhatsApp from Snap! It's working fine.

When you went from the BlackBerry version to the Android version, did your messages and groups transfer correctly?

Nope, only groups and had to add a lot of contacts manually.

    Really need a bar file!

Ugh, the groups come back but not a single message. I'm running both at the same time. I'll wait for 10.3 to come out officially, that way I don't lose the messages on the BB10 version.

Yeah, I have the solution for the native WhatsApp App Version 2.11.605.
Do you have a older backup from your BB Z10 for example?
You open the backup file with 7-zip and delete the data file of WhatsApp, not the bin file!
Because you restore WhatsApp with Blackberry Link with the data file, you can't restore your last history backup, because you will not get the request in WhatsApp for restore history. Search for gYABgD934jlePGCrd74r6jbZ7jk.app.data and delete this file in 7-zip. Restore Whatsapp with this modified backup file in Blackberry Link. Have fun
