When you click on the + sign (upper right corner) a list of items comes up. You can start typing in the text box, if the item exists it will show up in the filtered list and from there you can click the plus sign (next to the product name) to add it to your list. If the item is not found, you can add the new item from here.

I've settled on OurGroceries for now. It works well and meets my needs. I just wish I could pay them and get rid of the ads.

What so you mean? It's in BlackBerry World and it works well as long as you have an Internet connection. Otherwise, it doesn't save your changes. I can't use it when I'm camping because I go where I can't be reached so I can relax and get back to basics and relax.

I'm not sure where what format your list is in now, but Evernote takes just about everything and it's going to be around for a while.

It's an Android port and you'll have to create your own lists, but I use Upvise. It lets us you specify the price of the items, category, and even the isle to find it in. You can create separate lists for different stores. You can use in on multiple devices too - including on the web. If my wife wants to add items to the list she can without ever calling me. When I open it at the store, it's all there in front of me.

I use Our Groceries (Android). I like it since there is a cloud sync and it also syncs across devices. This way anyone can mark something that is needed, and then when someone goes shopping, whoever is doing so, sees the whole family's list.
