    I think best twitter cliant must be native one, even now. I have Blaq but a bit difficult for daily use because of its unique interface.

    Take the time and effort to lean Blaq. It's really not that difficult.

    The native Twitter app is your best bet, I'm not sure if it was updated but Blaq may not support long DM's.

    It is always possible to remove the original twitter application and create again the twitter account without the native application!! Work fine! For messages and chat. The native twitter application is only a twitter viewer!!!

    Interesting! I'll have to try this myself.

    Do you happen to know if these messages are pushed to the device, or pulled every so often? For me, DMs that come through through Blaq are instantaneous (1-2 seconds), whereas through the stock application, they come several *minutes* after they are sent. For my purposes, I need push messaging.

    Quick Question: The original native Twitter app doesn't display long tweets correctly, it shows the link to open longer tweets in the browser. Does blaq display those tweets correctly?

    IIRC it shows them correctly in the timeline but not in replies to a tweet (you have to click the url and it opens a new Blaq tab).

    Correct. The complete tweet is visible without having to expand it.

    When you say longer, do you mean longer than 140? Since the new limit is 280

    Blaq has no issue showing 280 character tweets either.

    Last time I tried Blaq, which was like 4 months or so ago, there was the same delay as with the native Twitter app so if push notifications work for you, then Blaq's implementation is flaky at best...
