Unique app on Blackberry 10 helps you to capture sounds that you would have missed before
Imagine that you're going out with friends/family, in a meeting, playing with your kids then suddenly you hear something fun/interesting that you want to save to hear again later. That's where I Heard It comes in: It keeps hearing the sounds around you and keep recent sounds in a buffer so you can tell it to capture them whenever you want with a simple tap. I am so glad the first reply was a serious view of the possibilities of this app. Aside from blackmail, lol, it might be very useful for stuff like recording important agreements or even threatening situations.

I will give it a try and if I end up using it a lot I will get the in-app upgrade for sure!

One issue there could be it restarts its buffer in the middle of some conversation (or threat).

FYI, this app can also be used as kind-off call recording app if you turn speaker on
About battery draining, yes, this app will affect battery. However that's normal to continuously recording task. I've tested another very popular audio recording app and result is quite the same. I'll try to improve it as much as possible, but for sure your battery will run out faster.
If you have any suggestions, feature requests, please use Feedback menu of the app, so I can response quicker

Thank you for the idea. Could you give me name of that app? I'm not sure if BB10 allows record video while minimized but I'll investigate about this.

It wouldn't record if minimised but it was great as I could record the kids knowing I wouldn't miss a thing as it had already captured the previous 10 seconds. I would love this on bb10.

It's a nice idea and can be done on BB10 too. I'll definitely looking at it, but will take some times.
