N4BB Discontinues Apps - In case anyone is interested:

Was just announced on their BBM Channel, here is a small quote from their announcement:

"Nevertheless, we deeply thank the hundred of thousands who did download our apps and enjoyed their use. Our app is no longer available within BlackBerry World. If you already have the app installed, content will not render, and it will infinitely cycle. It would be in your interest to remove the app."

The 99% who don't read descriptions or any sort of documentation would have another reason to whine, so I say perfect decision. It's a non funtioning app, why would it exist in the app store?

Holy smackers! Thought I hit the wrong button!! I didn't know weight loss, celebrity plastic surgery secrets and "free baby samples"?? was a BB issue? Man! I am soooo misinformed!! Ha.
PS: reader mode doesn't show pictures either.
There is no reason to go to N4BB. A person night as well scour the internet on their own for BlackBerry news..
OR EVEN BETTER, use CrackBerry!!

And here I was think something was wrong with my phone. Between this app not working and the latest Chrome and Opera browser I was ready to reload the leak on my Z10. Glad I ran across this. Weird thing is that if you reinstall the app, it is not even listed under Applications Permissions. There is an icon for it on the home screen, but no permissions...weird.

Ha! I doubt this is a big loss! Don't remember the last time I visited N4BB.

Can't see how more people will use their site because they dropped the app. More likely they will see a drop in numbers. Good luck to them. Just means more people coming to Crackberry instead!

Their Senior Editor JT is a total Verge fanboy. He's literally obsessed with The Verge, and Dan Sceifert of the Verge, honestly its really weird...Dan tweets about movies, JT will tweet about movies. Dan tweets about his love of Oreos, JT will tweet about Oreos. He's even tried to make N4BB look kinda like The Verge in the story pictures style. The Verge slurps iphones, now JT secretly slurps iphones(while using "why you hate blackberry" mocking to cover it up and shield himself from honest criticism).

I really like Lucas, and Nico and honestly this is not trash talk, but Lucas should have never hired JT, that guy doesn't seem to have an original thought in his head, he just reads The Verge and regurgitates their thoughts....its shallow and kinda pathetic imho. Meanwhile BerryFlow and Crackberry are having honest discussions from active users And developers IN the BlackBerry community. Imho BerryFlow's podcasts are must watch videos.


N4BB has really been falling these days. Wish Lucas and Nico all the best tho. From everything ive heard they're really great dudes.
