That's free, please. I'm currently living in Florida and I'm thinking about selling my car and getting an amazing electric bike, to make money, save money and not have the ridiculous expenses of owning a car. Right now there's crazy pouring rain and thunder so I really want a weather app that is as accurate as possible for real time and hourly. Please, help!

I've never really found one that's always accurate. Only an idea of what's possible really. Nearly impossible to predict the weather, you can only report what's happening.

Be weather is an awesome app and yes you will have to pay for it. Free means you get what you pay for.

The native BlackBerry weather map works well for me. It draws it's data from Accuweather. If that's not working for you then Skymotion probably won't suit you either but those are my choices.

You could also just look outside or try The Last Weather App: http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/22878875

I have used SNAP to grab Sky Motion (by accu-weather). It is pretty darn accurate. It shows either how long before the next precipitation or how much longer it will keep raining.

How about if you find a good local weather site (tv) that show doppler radar for your area.

Skymotion is good in that respect. I keep the the web version bookmarked in the browser for quick access and spares me having to install yet another app. The native BlackBerry weather map gives the same info in coarse hourly and city wide format but the fine tuning based on address and down to 1 minute intervals that Skymotion allows is very accurate. Radar maps are also linked to within the BlackBerry weather app.

Thanks. I did not know they had a WEB app/page.

Sunny and hot most of the day up until about 3-5pm, severe thunderstorms for about an hour, then sunny, hot and humid for the remainder of the evening.

    Repeat.

That's how it was a few weeks ago but it hasn't rained yet today and it's past 6PM.

I personally use "Open the Window."

It seems pretty accurate and it's free.

Arcus weather, an Android app from Snap, reports rain to the minute. It's free and quite enjoyable.

BeWeather has been good for us here because where I live Accuweather isn't even close, but Wunderground is great, and BeWeather uses Wunderground data.

Download Noted, my 5-star rated, native BB10 notepad app.

I use 3: beberry, accu and weather network

None of them are that accurate but I do look at all 3.

I live in FL as well. So far I've been happy with BlackBerry's version of Accuweather. I purchased BeWeather 10 but went back to the default weather app. I also downloaded Weather Radar USA for my radar needs. It's free and uses the same source as BeWeather. I like this radar better than going to AccuWeather's Web version via the BlackBerry weather app, which only shows you a couple of seconds. AccuWeather's own app would be nice if it weren't for the ads. The only thing I miss from BeWeather is the alerts.

    EDIT:
I also want to add that BeWeather can be battery hungry depending on settings. It's pretty and offers nice features. BlackBerry weather registers for me at 0.05% with pretty regular updates. Something to keep in mind for the battery conscious. These are based on my experiences, your mileage may vary

BeWeather is a good app, but forget getting any support from the developer if necessary.

Most apps are drawing from the same sources and re-presenting it within their own interface.

I find be weather is never as accurate as the native accu weather.

For a while I was opening both since I paid for be weather, but now it's deleted off my phone.

Not too sure as I haven't really dug that deep into it. Maybe someone else can respond to that.

I have yet to find a suitable weather app. I use a combination of web sites from the National Weather Service (US) and Environment Canada (Canada) and the various "live" radars that they offer to monitor weather systems in my area.
