Still waiting for Facebook Messenger update. Actual version and implementing browser experience to the app is pointless. I(and probably most of BlackBerry users) don't want to have another browserlike experience in the app. It should be an app, not a browser version stucked in the app.

Not without consequences. Snapchat was mad at him for creating the app and asked BlackBerry to pull it from BlackBerry World so if he were to put it back now, Snapchat will probably get even more mad.

Current portfolio is basically screwed. Developed burned through his credibility and goodwill like a hot knife going through butter with numerous promises about app updates for which there has been no delivery. In the past weeks, I have had to uninstall/reinstall Messenger numerous times as it seem to work only for a few days at a time. I would be very reluctantly to purchase another app from NS.

I understand your concerns.
I feel frustrated about the lack of support, too. But there's a but: Face10 and Messenger work most of the time. That's far better than if there weren't any of NS's apps.
Unfortunately there's very little competition on the BB10 platform.

Facebox first try and it's miles ahead of this ****ty app I'm talking about the Facebook app now you can praise the last dev left on BlackBerry all you want but the guy is a tosser, and don't try and defend him he's taken everyone's money on the promises he made and hadn't done jack ****, everyone paid for it thinking we would get updates as he told us. I'm fairly certain he doesn't know how to fix the issues it has with hub etc that was his selling point oh we have hub fully working etc but for an hour then it's all broken. I have no issues with devs making apps for BlackBerry but for you to promise this and that and people paying for it is low as low can be. I hope snap chat sue him I'd rather them get my 5 bucks I paid for these apps than him.

If he came and told us I can't fix this or that then fine but he just says updates coming soon, he brings update out and nothing changes I swear he just changes the change log and gives it a new version number.

I can't find it either anymore on my Passport even though my mum still uses it on her Passport. Guess it got pulled from BBW.

"Fixed compose button". Makes a change from Minor Bug Fixes I suppose.

I'm not complaining cause it's pretty much the best we've got since BlackBerry dropped messenger.

What is the current situation with this app? I am new to bb10 and I've read mixed reviews about it. What is the experience of people who use it now? Is it worth purchasing it for the hub integration?
