Not impressed. Mega seems to be using data on my phone even though I never open it unless on wifi and have the settings so that it only uploads photos on wifi.

Im using the android port version they have put in BlackBerry World.

    Here are some screens

The option is to upload only over wifi, are you downloading with Mega?

I don't assume so over data. I've opened the app a few times using wifi but today for instance it used 14mb but doing what?

I've uninstalled it I might send them an email.

LoL. Seriously though... Wow! This has seriously made me rethink my position. Never really been a cloud guy. Been using Dropbox forever for a very small amount of pet pics (1-2gb). Wanted more space recently for some videos now. Was looking into this for the 50gb and encryption. Now I'm turned off a bit. Glad I saw this...

    Thanks for the heads up!

I uninstalled it the first time but I thought I'd try and see if the android app acted any better, but I was watching it closely. Unfortunately it does not. Luckily because of 10.3 I was able to see the problem before it did much damage.
