I need an app that can do the following:
    - open existing picture from device
    - be able to free draw (simple brush with color and size selector) over
    - save the file with original resolution

    Extras:
    - shapes drawing - circles, line, rectangular etc.

I really wish and I am amazed the native photo editor doesn't have those options. Often I have to take a photo and mock/point a few things before I share it for my work.

Can't find anything descent free or trial in BBW when I search for Paint/er, Draw/er, Mock.

Can someone recommend something? Money is not an issue for the right tool.

Actually it's not so surprising because no other platform's native editor have these functions
You could look for an android app if the native ones aren't what you want them to be

    Try Quick Draw.

Check out Quick Draw - Draw anything on the screen with your Finger in BlackBerry World! You can find it at http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/59950063

No drawing tools but has cliparts.

I'd try sketchbook if you don't mind paying $3.99 for it. I believe it has all that you are looking for.

I believe Symbian had it .

Also, I am surprised because they included all those "Facebook" oriented edits and nothing work/business oriented.

Have you used it? It seems qualifying but reviewers are saying it's laggy.

I was happy for a moment when I downloaded it (before creating this thread) and then realized that the save photos are 720x720 only. Have you found a way to have them at higher res?

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work. I only ever used it to edit my 720x720 screenshots...

I also use this tool. Good one!
I agree it's a descent one. I wish it had the option to save higher res images.

Same problem - 720x720 resolution only. $4.25 down the toilet.

This is starting to get annoying. I am starting to feel the pain of "lack of apps" complainers.

    We have a winner.

BBW should send you a prize. There search terms suck.

    Thanks!
