meh... I cant log into last.fm or access the sound effects pane on my q10. There is no "okay" button.
Help I can only connect on wifi. I don't see a option to turn on the 3g network. I am just trying the free version is there a different in the paid version ? Thanks

There is nothing like an option to turn on 3g network, just make sure to have an active data connection over 3g, and it should work. Also, Spotify is not a paid app, you only pay for the service.

That's just it, I have a great 3g connection as soon as I lose wifi. Spotify saids no internet connection and play list get grayed out

Yeah the layout issues on the Q10 are a bother (some parts missing buttons). But the overall smoothness of the player is great!BlackBerry 10 signed.
I also use Spotify and love it. The only thing that gets annoying is the notification on my Z10 with the songs name. I get a brief disruption, and I see a notification! It's driving me nuts. Anyone know how to stop these notifications?
Don't think you can those notifications would appear on the top blind on android and similar with iOS. It's just the fact we have everything in the hub so it kinda sticks out as one of those items that cannot be grouped other than alert.
I wish there was a feature where you can share what you're listening to to your bbm friends so maybe gad a music tab in the Hub? And have a toggle off/on switch as an option you requested.

Turn off device broadcast status. That eliminates the song update in the hub.
The update is nice and very smooth now.
i use it all the time even in canada for free ;)
It's been smoother since February but yea it's a nice app. I really wish the free version let you select the song and not always have to shuffle haha
I live in Canada too and would like to know how to use this great service also.
Lol its actually simple.
Find a free openvpn service like vpnbook download it. Make an account and login.
When using a free account you can "travel" outside the country for 14 days
so you just need to login into your vpn every 14 days.
If you want to pay 10$ per month then you dont have to go through that loophole and you won't have to shuffle your playlists on the app always which is annoying. You also won't get advertisements. The app doesn't use much data but ot will also let you do offline mode if you pay.
Paying monthly is very worth it but depends on your income and im a student.
Other then that its like a cloud itunes with better radio. I actually stopped using itunes and moved all my music to the app. Highest quality music (not like the youtube crap). I can sign into any of my friends computers.
Download the spotify app from aptoide and 1mobile. Not Snap because you can't download the app in Canada.
Msg me of you need more help

I did turn off device broadcast status, and I'm still getting a notification for every song that is playing. You are talking about the status within the app right?
Has anyone attempted offline listening yet? Building up 100s of songs I wanna listen offline but not sure if my blackberry can cope. Already have 2000 on the memory card

I dpbt have a membership so I haven't

Yes,
It did work for a while but now it is updating again.Sorry I will dig further into it.
Yes I have three playlists downloaded with about 7000 tracks combined. One of the playlists is not playing so I am not sure what the issue is but the others are.
So far the space needed is small so my guess is the quality is low.
My spotify doesn't remember my downloaded tracks.
Does it for you guys? Also when downloaded songs the app is barely or not usable. The first point is the real issue though.

I found this! I'm going to try and report back
How to Turn off Spotify Notifications and Emails: 4 Steps
Simple: Download "Ghost commander" from BlackBerry World. Open it, click on "applications", go to Spotify and long-tap on it, then choose "manage" from the popped-up window. Then simply uncheck the box for notifications.
This way you can get rid of every unwanted HUB-Interaction from android apps.
Tapatalked with amazing Q10
Sometimes the spotify app gets very laggy. I found out, that if you empty the cache it will work again as it should. Seems to be an issue with the memory management.
Had the same problem on the 9900
My Q10 can also get very hot...
I also don't like that you can't see anywhere which network you are using, there used to be a small symbol in the upper right corner, but on the android app I didn't see any.

The one thing I love most is when I use Spotify to sync my Local Files.
Because they also show up in the stock Music Player. So it is a nice alternative to iTunes/WMP. :)
Does not work for online playlists though.
