    Hello, i recently bought a Passport and until today i was struggling to find a nice decent browser. I tried several ones such as the Fennec Browser, Firefox, Maxthon. But all of them seem to let me down in terms of performance.

    After searching a little i decided to download the Kiwi Genie and after playing a bit with the flags it is now blazing fast!!

    Here's a video on how it looks. (My connection is a little slow, around 3Mb)

    https://gofile.io/?c=kRosOd

    Type: chrome://flags on your address bar and search for the following entries \\\

    Override software rendering list enabled
    Hardware-accelerated video decode disabled
    Accelerated 2D canvas disabled
    Accessibility Tab Switcher enabled
    Enables background downloading of pages enabled
    Optimize background video playback disabled
    Enable custom context menu enabled
    Autoplay policy user gesture is required
    Throttle expensive background timers disabled
    Stop in background disabled

    To play video on background on Kiwi Browser:

    In the browser access to https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/371641-video-background-play-fix and click on Install Script to start the download.
    Save the .js file to somewhere safe and go to extensions;
    Press load and navigate to the .js you previously saved;
    Activate it using the slider;
    Restard the browser and you are all set.
    This somehow make the browser to become irresponsive

    I'm wondering how i can change the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx just like we do on Firefox and Fennec in order to make the elements in the page a little smaller.

    I'm experimenting with your settings on my Passport and so far it has been impressive. Thanks for the browser tips. I've always used Kiwi but these settings do indeed seem to speed the browser up.

    Well, that didn't last long. Getting a number of browser freezes on certain websites and also when I enter Browser settings I am getting freezes. Back to the default in all likelihood.

    Followed your steps and honestly not noticing much of a difference.

    Are you still going to upload some videos to show off the performance?

    Also what is the specific Kiwi Browser build that you are using?

    Had a few group users try this.. not entire settings, but reporting noticeable differences on Classics.

    Ahh - that's an old version and maybe why my new version Quadea is not great on your tweaks.

    And why you don't need those tweaks.

    Do keyboard shortcuts work on that version or the play in background fix for youtube?

    Every time I open youtube from Kiwi, start playing something and then send it to the background, it just stops functioning. Maybe it doesn't work for me....
