OK this question is killing me already as I need to know and I'm sorry if there's billion of threads out there regarding Instagram, but Kevin, for God's sake, please tell us atleast whether it's a ported version or a native app of BB? I don't care or don't wanna know when it's gonna be released as long it's as native app. I don't like the idea of having and stealing some stupid Andriod version and port it to BB just so it works. Yes, we do deserve to have our own native BB app!

Please take a moment to read this thread and reply back to us since there was no other way to ask this.

Sideloaded doesn't work so I would have to assume that the one Kevin showed was native. Could be wrong though. Guess we'll have to wait and see

I don't think Kevin would troll us like that and tease us with a side loaded app like that. If that's the case then might as well show Netflix and google maps.

Based on his title "Where there's a will, there's a way" indicates it wasn't easy to get it working. It's either an official Android port from Instagram that's coming soon or a working unofficial sideload that he managed to get working. Very doubtful it's native Cascades.

You could look at it that way. Or where there's a will there's a way could mean it was simply hard to get, nothing to do with hard to get working/ported.
I would assume he is showing us the version that we will all see, which is reported to be native.

Facebook owns instagram. Facebook made a native app for bb10. If I were to speculate I would imagine it would be native.

Who wouldn't want to take advantage of making their app even more awesome than all other os's with special gesture ways of doing things.

The pics of the app were photoshopped by bla1ze here to show how easy it is to make it look like a reputable app or an os can be "shown" on a device.

I believe someone changed the apk file and also side loaded a android app.

An official, working android port for BlackBerry 10 is all we need. Remember, Windows Phone doesn't have Instagram at all. As long as the port is official (not sideloaded), and working, I'll be extremely happy and grateful.
