Perhaps the given links have apks incompatible to BB10 OS, kindly refer to XcrazyS' thread for a fully functional apk of instagram in the event of any misbehaviour experienced from the link given below leading to apk versions of instagram lite.

Reasons to move to XcrazyS' version:
1. No crash at multiple launches.
2. Fully compatible to BlackBerry android runtime.
3. Trustworthy developer.
4. Small sized and all features included (direct messaging as well)

I don't know how many of you have already used this app or been using it but I came across this 5 minutes from now.

Yeah, I checked it out too. It's not letting us post anything perhaps because it doesn't have access to the Storage.
It's a limitation but it has Hub integration as a merit.
While the app permission tab shows that it has been given all the permissions, it doesn't show the storage still.

@conite you do have knowledge of the app building and stuff.
This is the app that I found on a telegram group, it supports direct messaging in instagram. The developer is an Indonesian guy (the one who said "Good" in this thread)
This app crashes a lot, one can only use it once, like you have logged in and scroll through the feed, send some messages and stuff, you close the app (not minimise, close) and then the next time you open the app, it crashes abruptly.

The Indonesian guy is the developer as I said, I asked him about the problem, but he won't understand, he doesn't speak English and I tried translation but his replies were not recognised by the translator.

I was wondering if u could check on this app. Is it possible for you? I mean like this guy has patched it or whatever which makes it not possible for you to jump in and do some fixes?

Ok. I'll look at it when I get a chance.

In the meantime, I just use the mobile website for Instagram on my BB10 devices.

The app is just the regular Instagram Lite app from Play Store.

But you are correct, if you run another Android app and try to load Instagram again, it crashes. There is no solution.

Who knows? The BB10 Android Runtime is not fully compatible with pure Android 4.3.

I have tested it on the Q10 OS 10.3.3.2049 device which is the most stable OS and Instagram Lite doesn't get stuck ... although now the bug can't upload photos or videos is not a problem for me as long as I can do DM

So guys, the problems for instagram are completely solved, thanks to the guy who patched this apk to work properly. @XcrazyS please add this apk into your thread of adapted android applications and native files.

no wonder, i don't like the late os 10.3.3.3216 because it has a lot of bugs.

I have tested the OS that is really stable at BB 10 is only 10.3.3.2049
