Yes I did. It worked like plug and play for me.

Open BlackBerry Link, Plug in device, open app and turn server setting to ON, Change proxy setting in Chrome, Browse on PC.

I just had to figure out the Chrome settings and I was good to go.

Isn't that what Internet tethering in the 'Network and Connection' settings does?

Possibly, but I have an old data plan that uses a pay wall for these kinds of features from within the OS. I had to find an alternative and this was it.

I made it a 'free' app since it can take a little time to figure out the socks settings to make it work- I don't think people should have to pay money for that.
