Not sure about this. But, if you place the file in Dropbox, or BOX.com, or something like that, can you then browse to it from your device and thus install it?

no it doesn't know what to open it as, DBPB doesn't some local rework to the file before sending.

Any other ideas? I would like to do this also...

    Yes, there is! Non-detailed steps:
    1. Enable Development Mode on your device.
    2. Install "PlayBook App Manager" extension in Google Chrome.
    3. Determine the Wifi IP address of your BlackBerry Z10 device.
    4. Open "Options" for the "PlayBook App Manager" extension.
    5. Follow prompts and directions.

Localbar has a phone app component otherwise it can't work. So if you install it on the z10 you'll need to install the the other portion on an old os7 BlackBerry which defeats the point

So far there aren't any OTA apps for the z10.. plus it's possible that blackberry will disable sideloading in one of the upcoming updates.
