If blackberry knew it was going to be blocked by instagram or that the app was illegal It would not be posted on blackberry world. What would be the point of submitting it for review then if they let fraudulent apps surface on it?

Why does anyone need to provide the developer with PayPal info? Go through the BlackBerry World refund process. It's simple and works within a day.
Also keep in mind, igrann is free!!!!!!

Sorry but please post proof of this. Screenshot it.
Lol,this dev is a joke.
But pic or it didn't happen

Clearly the dev is not a fluent English speaker. There was a misunderstanding but turns out he is an honest guy.
I got a refund for ?5 from him but through PayPal which is odd.

Plus he didn't revoke my app, so I pretty much made $6 Canadian and got a free app. Works for me!

Damn, new way of earning money online? Buy app and request for refund? Lol jk.
Anyway, I would suggest you return the extra to the dev.
I assume they are all passionate devs and good ones. If they keep making loss like this.
Then, no one will develop for BlackBerry 10 anymore.

Where did you read that?

But not available yet

Because their developer relations group is just that desperate and just that clueless.
Promoting apps that blatantly violate other developers' service is a horrible way to make friends in the developer world.
Some features are not available yet,i already loaded it on my device.running smooth now.

Haha I see what you mean. No in the emails we exchanged he gave me the $3 extra for my troubles and that he was sorry. I promised I would donate to him if it does work though

Yes it is. A public beta was posted on the iGrann CB page. So far it works well for most people. There are some big bugs and not all of the features are finished yet, but others were saying that it is actually better than BlackGram.

Hey would you mind pointing me in the direction of the beta app? I wasn't able to search it up.

Has anyone else here gotten an "Invalid Account" error? It doesn't seem to be related to the other login issues, I've been getting it all day. Something bizarre to do with my account, after a few tries logging in and getting this error, I can't login to the official client without resetting my password. Emailed the dev earlier to see if they can help, but I'm wondering if this is an anomaly or if someone else has had this too.
Oh boi...lol

The dev emailed back very quickly, told me the solution was to reset the password and try logging in right after - works like a charm. Apparently Instagram asks for a password reset if you login to several clients, and after my last password reset I had logged into my sideload, iGrann, and Instagram on my Nexus, so I suppose Blackgram was one too many for it. I'm now happily using the client, and I have to say - it's absolutely awesome!
It's work!

Do you work for instagram or own any type of stock in it or are you on some warped mission to save the 'net?

I'm not sure that "profiteering" is an accurate term for what this developer is doing. He may well be in violation of a user agreement, which isn't illegal, simply a contract violation, but profiteering takes advantage of people in dire need, like raising the price of bottled water in an emergency.
The reality is, we have options that cost us zero. So we're not forced to pay him. Also, Instagram could well benefit from apps like this - saving them the trouble of producing a BB10 app.
Considering the server side requirements for the app, 2.99 is a reasonable ask here, and it's not like the server load on the Instagram side is any different than if everyone sideloaded their app...

I want Instagram too
