I would like to know if now the video recorder works on blackberry with this version ? and if its necessary to convert the instagram app and then use playbook app manager ?

The chrome extension (PlayBook App Manager) or DDPB, either way you can use. No need to convert .Apk files again after downloading them from my links, they're .bar files already.

Sys.android probably is the android runtime of BB10, so I guess you need to reinstall Sys.android.bar before running any sideloaded apps. Otherwise, android apps won't be able to run on BB10. And I don't understand why you said it looks like line...lol

I've uploaded the Instagram 4.1.2 which is the latest version from Google Play. The original .apk file has been converted to .bar format, you can give it a shot!

Attention!
1. If you never met the camera compatible issue on your Z10 with 10.2, you just need to unzip the package to install the 4.1.2 version using DDPB or Chrome extension. Then, it's supposed to work. Otherwise, you probably need to follow the procedure below.

2. For those Q10 & DAC folks, I'm pretty sure the 4.1.2 won't work on 10.2, the compatible issue will appear immediately once you run it.

A few steps to solve:
1. Unzip the package, you'll get 2 files including 3.4.4 and 4.1.2 version.
2. Install the 3.4.4 first. Do not install them together.
3. After finishing installation of 3.4.4, run it without signing in. Then, close it.
4. Install the 4.1.2, now you'll see two icons. Whichever you open, they'll both get into the same latest version.
5. Keep all these two icons on your device.

Now you're good to go. Enjoy!!

I downloaded the 3.4.4. .bar and it worked on my Q10, but I had to swap that phone for another and now it no longer works. I have done the recommended download of 3.4.4 with the 4.1.2 and I receive a mention that my phone is not compatible. When I remove the 4.1.2 and try to use the 3.4.4. I get a message that I need to upload an updated version of the app. Please help!

Are you using a Z10? I'm on10.2 Z10 and loaded 3.4.4 first opened it then closed it, loaded 4.1.2 and logged in with no problems.

I'm not sure if it'll work on Q through the way of debug token. If you're running10.2.0.1047, just follow my instructions, the 4.1.2's supposed to work fine. By the way, it won't work on 10.1 for Q.

Yes, the 3.4.4 was already outdated for a long time, but it's the key to be possible to run the latest version of Instagram. For Q, if you're currently using 10.1, the 4.1.2 won't work on it even though done those steps, but it works on 10.2.0.1047 for sure.

Sorry to say I'm not sure. I know I have seen people complain that they have not been able to get it to work on the Q10 for some reason.

Hey everyone I have a z10 and I upgraded to 10.2 and installed instagram 4.1.2!! Everything works just fine I can even upload videos using keek but the thing is that after the update I cant watch any videos they play they have sound n all but I cant see anything its just a pink blur. I've pretty much tried everything and nothing works anyone knows how to sort this one out??
