    So, this isn't a perfect solution, but I'd like to offer a simple workaround for notifications from Facebook on Blackberry 10.

    Personally, I've moved on to the Priv, and heavily recommend you start making plans for other devices. Although not the Priv.

    That being said, the solution is an app called Blackbullet.

    It is a pushbullet client, it will allow you to receive notifications from multiple things. I use it for a lot of other websites as well.

    Create an account on ifttt.com.

    Get your Facebook rss details, and make a recipe to push notifications from Facebook, to pushbullet, which will come through on your device.

    Imperfect, but it works.

    Also, for the Pushbullet dev. You have a shortcut to add notifications from crackberry, you might want to consider the same for Facebook. Just to make it simpler for everyone.
