    Hi,

    Is the following TRUE or only sometimes?

    You can tell if an app is a Droid port because if it is then launching it will always bring up that special, more transparent bottom bar with the special show/hide/pin controls along with the info button that shows you how to go back with a gesture if the bar is hidden.

    If the bar is hidden to begin with, you won't see it when the app starts, but a swipe down from the top will make the player menu bar appear at the bottom.

    I think the reason that they don't use the Android logo is probably related to copyright laws and that is intellectual property. They do have the "Built for BlackBerry" designation for native apps...

    Yeah but remember that Built for BlackBerry is a special certification or status if you will for certain high quality native apps. Most apps in the world are native but not BFBB certified the way I understand it.
